Bichat’s Fat Pad Removal

In the 18th century doctor Bichat discovered fat pads in the cheek region. They were not connected with subcutaneous fat. With years these fat pads usually lose their volume and weight.

Fat pads remain well developed and even grow in stout or chubby people. Having a certain weight they begin to sag causing the deepening of nasolabial folds, as well as the “bulldog cheeks”. These changes lead to premature aging. Using special instruments I remove Bichat’s fat pads through a tiny incision (up to 0.5 cm) in the tunica mucosa of mouth. As a result, you have your cheeks lifted and light. Your nasolabial folds smooth away, face shape improves and facial contours become clear-cut and attractive.
