Liposuction

Liposuction is one of the most frequently performed operations, as nowadays a third of the population of the developed countries suffers from the excessive weight and obesity. The method presupposes the use of special tubules called cannulas with the thickness up to 4 mm to suck out the excessive fat through tiny skin incisions. Patients mostly need the correction of the so-called “fat traps”: the anterior abdominal wall, waist and exterior surface of hips. We also achieve good results in the correction of the interior surface of hips and shoulders, as well as in the volume reduction in the region of knee. Using lipoaspiration, we achieve radical results in the reduction of the quantity of adipose cells.

The results are life long but you need to keep the positive effect of volume reduction and your body contour improvement sticking to a diet and doing adequate physical exercises. I explain my patients thatliposuction does not treat obesity. It is only a powerful spur to reconsider the attitude towards food and physical activity. The majority of my patients normalize their weight in the post-operative period.
